Manga as a Cure Book
2 Publications based on my hobby of reading Japanese comics, otherwise known as manga.

Publication
The first book is a small zine introducing my all-time favourite characters from different manags and how each character has impacted me during different times of my life. A short journal about highlighting my life journey, reinterpreted and narrated and displayed through the lens of characters.
The second publication is an imitation of manga that I made to tell a story of how reading manga has changed my perspectives on things and helped me grow, unlike how many people may perceive manga as something only kids read. This publication is a collage of various scenes taken from my collection of the scenes I made screenshots of while I was reading, which is a habit I do when I feel touched by some particular scenes.
The scenes were then rearranged and rescripted to make a completely new story, using a female character I chose from one of my favourite mangas to represent myself confronting different troubling situations. The story is separated into different chapters, each chapter dedicating to different concern I faced throughout the years.
